Description
This 36 mm square watch is a love letter to the 1926 Oyster — the case that put the crown on the wrist of the world. A fluted golden bezel sits on a 316L stainless steel square case finished with a screw-down crown and a screw-down caseback, both diamond-cut, sealing the dial against 100 m of water pressure. The dial comes in white mother-of-pearl or matte black, both lit by Swiss Super-LumiNova in the cathedral hands. Sized at 36 mm across and 43.3 mm lug-to-lug, it slips easily under a cuff, while the Seagull ST1701 inside winds itself on the wrist and tops up with the crown when you give it a turn.
